Why Practice Mindfulness?

Mindfulness meditation alters regions of the brain associated with memory, awareness of self, and compassion, according to a brain imaging study by researchers at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. It helps you break the train of your everyday auto-pilot to evoke permanent shifts in your state of being, and helps with feelings of anxiety and depression.
